  1. Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of job roles and responsibilities to determine appropriate job classifications and salary levels.
  2. Develop and implement compensation strategies and guidelines that align with the University's goals and values.
  3. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the University's compensation plans remain competitive and equitable.
  4. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to gather data and make recommendations for compensation adjustments.
  5. Conduct job evaluations and salary surveys to ensure fair and consistent pay practices.
  6. Advise and educate managers and employees on compensation policies and procedures.
  7. Participate in the design and implementation of new or revised job classification and compensation structures.
  8. Monitor and track employee performance evaluation processes to ensure alignment with compensation plans.
  9. Review and analyze compensation data to identify any discrepancies or inequities and make necessary adjustments.
  10. Maintain accurate records and documentation of compensation plans and decisions.
  11. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on complex compensation issues.
  12. Stay informed of federal and state laws and regulations related to compensation and ensure compliance.
  13. Develop and deliver training and workshops on compensation-related topics for managers and employees.
  14. Continuously assess and improve compensation processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  15. Collaborate with the broader HR team on various projects and initiatives to support the overall goals and objectives of the University.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Compensation Analysis And Classification In A Higher Education Or Public Sector Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Laws And Regulations Related To Compensation And Classification.

  • Experience With Job Analysis And Evaluation Methods, Including The Ability To Conduct Surveys And Analyze Data.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Various Stakeholders And Effectively Present Findings And Recommendations.
