We are currently seeking a dedicated Bus Driver to join our team and help us transport students, faculty, and staff around campus and beyond.As a Bus Driver for the University of Wyoming, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services. Your friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and attention to detail will be essential in providing a positive and efficient experience for our passengers.To be successful in this role, you must possess a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger and air brake endorsements, a clean driving record, and at least 2 years of experience driving large vehicles.   1. Safely operate university buses to transport students, faculty, and staff on and off campus.
  2. Follow all traffic laws and ensure the safety of passengers at all times.
  3. Maintain a clean and well-maintained bus, conducting regular safety inspections and reporting any issues or needed repairs.
  4. Provide excellent customer service to passengers, including assisting with boarding and disembarking, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
  5. Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to ensure timely and efficient transportation services.
  6. Maintain accurate records of routes, mileage, and passenger counts.
  7. Adhere to all university policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  8. Continuously monitor and assess road and weather conditions to determine the safest and most efficient routes.
  9. Attend regular safety and training meetings to stay updated on policies, procedures, and regulations.
  10. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, representing the university in a positive manner.
  11. Maintain a flexible schedule and be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  12. Keep up to date with all required licenses and certifications, including a valid CDL with passenger and air brake endorsements.
  13. Maintain a clean driving record and report any traffic or safety violations immediately.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  15. Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of transportation services.

Job Qualifications
