- Operate and maintain all technical equipment necessary for athletic events, including scoreboards, sound systems, lighting, and video displays.
- Ensure all equipment is set up and functioning properly prior to each event.
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during events and provide quick and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with coaches and other staff members to understand their specific equipment needs for practices and games.
- Assist with the set-up and breakdown of equipment for practices and games.
- Train and supervise student workers in the proper use of equipment and ensure they are following safety protocols.
- Maintain an inventory of all technical equipment and request repairs or replacements as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest athletic technology trends and make recommendations for equipment upgrades or purchases.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly stored and secured after each event.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while operating equipment.
- Communicate effectively with coaches, staff, and athletes to ensure their needs are met during events.
- Keep detailed records of all equipment usage and maintenance.
- Participate in meetings and trainings as required.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Athletics Director or supervisor.
Strong Communication And Organizational Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Sports Management, Recreation, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working In A Collegiate Athletics Setting.
Knowledge Of Ncaa Rules And Regulations.
Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Other Relevant Software.
