
Senior Manager, Compensation

- Develop and implement comprehensive compensation strategies to support the university's mission and goals.
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable compensation programs.
- Manage and maintain all aspects of the university's compensation programs, including salary structures, job classifications, and pay policies.
- Monitor and analyze compensation trends and make recommendations for adjustments to ensure competitiveness.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure alignment of compensation programs with overall organizational objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to management and HR staff on compensation-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations related to compensation.
- Develop and implement communication strategies to educate employees on compensation programs and policies.
- Lead and participate in compensation surveys and benchmarking studies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and partners for compensation-related services.
- Manage the performance and development of compensation team members.
- Monitor and maintain accuracy and integrity of compensation data and systems.
- Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior leadership regarding compensation programs and initiatives.
- Continuously evaluate and improve compensation programs and processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in compensation and make recommendations for implementation as appropriate.
Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Compensation Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Or Related Field.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Compensation Principles, Practices, And Regulations.
Experience In Developing And Implementing Compensation Strategies And Programs To Attract And Retain Top Talent.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Analyze Complex Data And Make Data-Driven Decisions.
