  10. Participating in outreach activities to engage with the community and promote the department and university.
  11. Participating in professional development activities to enhance teaching and research skills.
  12. Adhering to university and departmental policies and procedures.
  13. Collaborating with colleagues to continuously improve the quality of teaching and research within the department.
  14. Representing the department and university at conferences and events.
  15. Contributing to the overall academic excellence and reputation of the University of Texas, San Antonio.

Job Qualifications
  • A Phd In Sociology Or A Related Field With A Specialization In Demography.

  • At Least 3 Years Of Teaching Experience At The University Level, Preferably In Sociology And Demography Courses.

  • A Strong Research Record And Publication History In The Areas Of Sociology And Demography.

  • Demonstrated Expertise In Quantitative Research Methods And Data Analysis.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Engage And Mentor Students From Diverse Backgrounds.
