Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly motivated individual to join our team as the Special Assistant to the Head Coach. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with our esteemed Head Coach and contribute to the success of our football program. As a member of our coaching staff, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Coach in all aspects of the team's operations. We are looking for someone with a strong passion for football, exceptional organizational skills, and an unwavering commitment to our university's values.   1. Provide administrative support to the Head Coach in all aspects of the football program, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and team logistics.
  2. Act as a liaison between the coaching staff, players, and university administration.
  3. Assist in the planning and execution of team practices, games, and other football-related events.
  4. Coordinate team meetings and communication with players and coaching staff.
  5. Manage the Head Coach's schedule and prioritize tasks to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  6. Conduct research and prepare reports on opponent teams for game planning.
  7. Collaborate with other coaching staff members to develop strategies and game plans.
  8. Monitor and track player academic progress and assist in academic support efforts.
  9. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  10. Serve as a positive role model and uphold the university's values and code of conduct.
  11. Assist with recruiting efforts, including organizing visits and communicating with potential recruits.
  12. Attend team events and games, and provide support during practices and games as needed.
  13. Stay updated on NCAA rules and regulations and ensure compliance within the football program.
  14. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  15. Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Sports Management, Kinesiology, Or A Related Field

  • Previous Experience In A Collegiate Or Professional Football Program, Preferably In A Coaching Or Administrative Role

  • Strong Knowledge Of Ncaa Rules And Regulations

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills

  • Ability To Work Long And Irregular Hours, Including Evenings And Weekends, During The Football Season.
