  1. Conduct research and evaluation of mental health programs and initiatives to determine their effectiveness and impact.
  2. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to design and implement evaluation plans and data collection methods.
  3. Analyze and interpret data collected from various sources to provide insights and recommendations for improving mental health services.
  4. Prepare and present reports on evaluation findings to inform decision-making and program development.
  5. Stay up-to-date on current research and trends in mental health services to ensure the most relevant and effective evaluation methods are utilized.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners to facilitate the collection of data and ensure the success of evaluation efforts.
  7. Utilize a variety of research methods, including quantitative and qualitative, to gather and analyze data.
  8. Collaborate with program developers and providers to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for enhancing mental health services.
  9. Assist in the development and implementation of new mental health programs and initiatives.
  10. Ensure that all evaluation processes and procedures adhere to ethical standards and data privacy regulations.
  11. Provide guidance and support to junior team members on research and evaluation methods and techniques.
  12. Serve as a subject matter expert on mental health research and evaluation for internal and external stakeholders.
  13. Contribute to the overall mission and goals of the Texas Institute for Excellence in Mental Health and the University of Texas, Austin through high-quality research and evaluation work.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Social Science Or Related Field, Such As Psychology, Sociology, Or Public Health.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience Conducting Research And Evaluation In The Field Of Mental Health.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Research Methods And Statistical Analysis, Including Proficiency In Spss Or Other Statistical Software.

  • Experience With Program Evaluation And Implementation, Including Developing Evaluation Plans And Conducting Data Collection And Analysis.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Present Complex Findings In A Clear And Concise Manner.
