
HR Consultant - Compensation Analyst

- Conduct compensation analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of compensation data and market trends to ensure our employees are fairly compensated for their contributions.
- Develop compensation packages: Collaborate with HR team and department managers to develop competitive and equitable compensation packages for new hires and existing employees.
- Ensure compliance: Stay up-to-date with federal and state laws and regulations related to compensation and ensure our practices are in compliance with them.
- Conduct salary surveys: Conduct regular salary surveys to gather data on market trends and adjust our compensation packages accordingly.
- Advise on compensation issues: Provide guidance and recommendations to managers and HR team on compensation issues, such as salary adjustments, promotions, and bonus structures.
- Maintain compensation records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee compensation, including salary, bonuses, and benefits.
- Participate in job evaluations: Participate in job evaluations to determine appropriate salary ranges based on job responsibilities and qualifications.
- Review and analyze job descriptions: Review and analyze job descriptions to ensure they accurately reflect job responsibilities and align with our compensation structure.
- Develop compensation policies: Develop and maintain compensation policies and procedures to ensure consistency and fairness across the organization.
- Collaborate with external partners: Work closely with external partners, such as salary survey providers and compensation consultants, to gather data and stay informed about industry trends.
- Train managers and employees: Conduct training sessions for managers and employees on compensation practices and policies to ensure understanding and compliance.
- Monitor budget: Monitor compensation budget to ensure it aligns with organizational goals and objectives.
- Participate in compensation committees: Participate in compensation committees and provide recommendations on salary structures and adjustments.
- Maintain confidentiality: Handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Continuously improve processes: Continuously review and improve compensation processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Compensation Analysis And Consulting.
Strong Knowledge Of Federal And State Labor Laws And Regulations Related To Compensation.
Experience With Hris Systems And Proficiency In Data Analysis And Reporting.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships And Collaborate With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
