- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communication strategies to promote the University of Texas, Austin's mission, values, and achievements to a diverse audience.
- Lead a team of marketing and communication professionals to ensure cohesive and effective messaging across all platforms.
- Collaborate with university departments and stakeholders to develop and execute targeted marketing and communication plans for various initiatives, events, and campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze marketing and communication metrics to track the success of campaigns and make data-driven decisions for future strategies.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for the university, ensuring brand guidelines are followed and maintained across all external and internal communications.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing and communication to continuously improve and innovate the university's efforts.
- Oversee the development and management of the university's website, social media presence, and other digital platforms, ensuring a consistent and engaging user experience.

- Act as a strategic advisor to university leadership on all marketing and communication matters.
- Collaborate with the development team to incorporate fundraising and donor stewardship into marketing and communication efforts.
- Manage the marketing and communication budget and ensure resources are allocated effectively.
- Represent the university at conferences, events, and other speaking engagements to promote the institution and its accomplishments.
- Uphold the university's values of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all marketing and communication efforts.
- Continuously seek out new and innovative ways to elevate the university's brand and position it as a leader in higher education.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment within the marketing and communication team and across departments within the university.
Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Marketing And Communications, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Successful Marketing And Communications Strategies And Campaigns.
Strong Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Manage And Mentor A Team Of Marketing And Communications Professionals.
Extensive Knowledge Of Digital Marketing, Social Media, And Other Emerging Marketing Technologies.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With A Diverse Audience Including Students, Faculty, Staff, Alumni, And Community Stakeholders.
