  1. Provide career counseling and guidance to students at the University of Texas School of Law.

  4. Create and implement career development programs and workshops to support students in their job search.
  5. Work closely with faculty and administration to integrate career development into the curriculum and provide resources for students.
  6. Utilize various resources, such as job databases and networking events, to assist students in finding internships and job opportunities.
  7. Advise students on resume and cover letter writing, interviewing skills, and networking strategies.
  8. Maintain accurate records and data on students' job placements and career outcomes.
  9. Collaborate with other departments and organizations within the university to provide comprehensive career services to students.
  10. Serve as a mentor and advocate for students, helping them to identify and achieve their career goals.
  11. Stay informed on legal industry trends and developments to anticipate and address the evolving needs of students.
  12. Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in career counseling and placement.

Job Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree In Counseling, Higher Education, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Career Counseling And Placement, Preferably In A Law School Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of The Legal Job Market And Career Paths For Law School Graduates.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships With Students, Alumni, And Employers.

  • Experience With Career Development Resources And Technology, Such As Career Assessment Tools And Job Search Platforms.
