  1. Develop and implement strategies to support and enhance the academic and artistic programs of the University of Texas, Austin.
  2. Oversee the administrative functions of the academic and arts departments, including budget management, resource allocation, and staff supervision.
  3. Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure that academic and artistic programs align with the university's mission and goals.
  4. Evaluate and improve existing academic and artistic programs, and identify opportunities for new programs that will enhance the university's academic offerings.
  5. Manage the recruitment and retention of high-quality faculty, staff, and students to support the academic and artistic programs.
  6. Foster a positive and inclusive environment for students, faculty, and staff, and promote diversity and equity within the academic community.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as alumni, donors, and community partners, to support the university's academic and artistic initiatives.
  8. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in academic and arts management, and incorporate them into the university's programs and operations.
  9. Represent the university at academic and arts-related events and conferences, and serve as a spokesperson for the university's academic and artistic programs.
  10. Collaborate with other departments and offices within the university to promote interdisciplinary initiatives and projects.
  11. Prepare and present reports, proposals, and other materials to senior leadership, board of directors, and other stakeholders.
  12. Ensure compliance with university policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations related to academic and arts management.
  13. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the university's reputation and visibility in the academic and artistic communities.
  14. Other duties as assigned by the university's senior leadership.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of A Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Education, Arts Administration, Or Business Administration.

  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role In An Academic Or Arts Organization, Preferably At A University Setting.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successful Program Development And Implementation In The Academic Or Arts Field.

  • Strong Financial Management Skills And Experience With Budget Planning And Allocation.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Faculty, Staff, And External Stakeholders.
