- Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract qualified and diverse students to the School of Civic Leadership.
- Plan and execute recruitment events, both on and off campus, to engage potential students and promote the school's mission and values.
- Conduct informational sessions and workshops to educate students on the importance of civic engagement and social responsibility.
- Collaborate with other departments and organizations to expand outreach efforts and create partnerships that support the school's recruitment goals.
- Manage the application and admissions process, including reviewing and evaluating applicants, conducting interviews, and making admissions decisions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with high schools, community organizations, and other institutions to identify and recruit prospective students.
- Assist in the development and implementation of curriculum and programming related to civic education and social responsibility.
- Mentor and advise students on academic and career goals, as well as provide guidance on opportunities for civic engagement and leadership development.
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in civic education and recruitment strategies.
- Monitor and analyze recruitment data to assess the effectiveness of current strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
- Serve as a liaison between the school and other university departments, as well as external partners, to promote the school's mission and recruit students.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure a seamless transition for students from recruitment to enrollment and graduation.
- Represent the school at conferences, events, and other public forums to promote the school's brand and attract potential students.
- Assist in fundraising efforts to support recruitment and civic education initiatives.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of recruitment and civic education.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Education, Political Science, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Recruiting And/Or Civic Education, Preferably In A University Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Current Trends And Best Practices In Recruitment And Civic Education.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Engage And Motivate Diverse Groups Of Students And Stakeholders.
Demonstrated Leadership Experience And Ability To Manage A Team Effectively, As Well As Collaborate With Other Departments And Organizations.
