  1. Develop and execute marketing strategies for all athletic programs at the University of San Diego.
  2. Engage with and cultivate relationships with the loyal fan base of the university's athletic teams.
  3. Promote the success of student-athletes through various marketing efforts.
  4. Lead and manage a team of marketing staff to ensure effective implementation of marketing campaigns.
  5. Collaborate with other departments, including ticket sales, corporate partnerships, and media relations, to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive marketing approach.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the university's marketing efforts remain innovative and competitive.
  7. Create and manage marketing budgets for all athletic programs.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with sponsors and partners to enhance revenue opportunities.
  9. Measure and analyze the success of marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvement.
  10. Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including digital and print advertisements, social media content, and promotional materials.
  11. Plan and execute game day promotions and events to enhance the fan experience and drive attendance.
  12. Collaborate with coaches and student-athletes to create engaging and impactful marketing content.
  13. Represent the university at conferences and events related to sports marketing.
  14. Continuously seek out new and innovative ways to promote the university's athletic programs and engage with fans.
  15. Maintain a strong understanding of NCAA rules and regulations to ensure compliance in all marketing efforts.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Marketing, Communications, Business, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Sports Marketing, Preferably At A Collegiate Level.

  • Strong Understanding Of Marketing And Promotional Strategies In The Sports Industry.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Establish And Maintain Relationships With Various Stakeholders.

  • Experience Managing And Coordinating Events And Promotions, Including Budget Management And Vendor Relations.
