  1. Conduct comprehensive audits of the university's IT systems and processes to identify potential security risks and compliance issues.
  2. Develop and maintain audit plans, procedures, and schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of audits.
  3. Analyze audit findings and provide recommendations for improvement to IT leadership and other relevant stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate with IT teams to assess and improve internal controls and processes related to IT systems.
  5. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in IT auditing, security, and compliance.
  6. Communicate audit findings and recommendations to leadership and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  7. Serve as a subject matter expert on IT auditing and compliance matters, providing guidance and support to other team members.
  8. Facilitate and lead discussions with IT teams and other stakeholders to resolve audit findings and implement recommended improvements.
  9. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of audit processes and findings.
  10. Participate in the development and implementation of training programs for IT staff to promote awareness and understanding of IT audit processes and procedures.
  11. Stay updated on relevant regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  12. Lead and participate in special projects and initiatives related to IT auditing and compliance as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge Of It Audit Principles And Practices: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of It Audit Methodologies, Frameworks, And Regulations Such As Coso, Cobit, And Sox.

  • Extensive Experience In Conducting It Audits: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Performing It Audits With A Proven Track Record Of Identifying And Mitigating Risks Related To Information Systems.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Senior It Auditor, The Candidate Will Be Required To Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders. Therefore, Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential.

  • Advanced Technical Skills: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Technical Background, Including A Thorough Understanding Of Network And System Security, Databases, And Operating Systems. Experience In Data Analytics And Data Mining Is Also Highly Desirable.

  • Relevant Certifications: A Professional Certification Such As Cisa, Cissp, Or Cia Is Highly Preferred For This Role. These Certifications Demonstrate The Candidate's Expertise In It Auditing And Provide A Competitive Edge In The Job Market.
