  1. Provide life-saving care and transport for pediatric patients in critical condition.
  2. Demonstrate a high level of skill and proficiency in pediatric nursing.
  3. Effectively assess and monitor patients' conditions during transport.
  4. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records during and after transport.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Is Required For This Position. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In Nursing Principles And Practices.

  • Registered Nurse (Rn) Licensure: The Candidate Must Have A Valid And Current Rn License In The State Of New York. This Ensures That They Have Met The State's Requirements For Practicing As A Nurse.

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals) Certification: The Candidate Must Be Certified In Pals, Which Demonstrates Their Advanced Knowledge And Skills In Managing Pediatric Emergencies.

  • Minimum 2 Years Of Pediatric Critical Care Experience: The Candidate Must Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (Picu) Or Pediatric Emergency Department (Ped). This Experience Helps Them To Effectively Manage And Care For Critically Ill Or Injured Pediatric Patients During Transport.

  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (Nrp) Certification: The Candidate Must Be Certified In Nrp, Which Demonstrates Their Competency In Providing Care To Newborns During Transport. This Is Especially Important As Many Pediatric Transports Involve Neonates And Infants.
