- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students seeking mental health support.
- Conduct thorough assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans for students.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals to ensure integrated care for students.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all client interactions and treatment plans.
- Create a safe and welcoming environment for students to openly discuss their mental health concerns.
- Stay current on best practices and evidence-based treatments in the field of mental health.
- Remain culturally competent and sensitive to the diverse backgrounds and needs of our student population.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- Provide crisis intervention and referrals as needed.
- Serve as an advocate for mental health awareness and destigmatization on campus.
- Work closely with university staff, faculty, and administrators to promote a culture of wellness and self-care among students.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the provision of therapy services.
- Maintain confidentiality of all student information in accordance with HIPAA and university policies.
- Collaborate with community mental health resources to ensure students have access to appropriate care and support beyond the university setting.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment by actively participating in team meetings and supervision.
Master's Degree In Counseling, Psychology, Or Social Work From An Accredited Institution.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Providing Mental Health Therapy In A Clinical Setting.
Current State Licensure As A Mental Health Therapist (Lcsw, Lmft, Lpc, Etc.).
Knowledge And Experience In Evidence-Based Therapy Approaches, Such As Cognitive Behavioral Therapy And Solution-Focused Therapy.
Experience Working With Diverse Populations And Ability To Provide Culturally Sensitive Therapy.
