  1. Conduct laboratory tests and procedures in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and accuracy of results.
  3. Prepare and analyze samples, following established protocols and safety measures.
  4. Record and report test results to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  5. Maintain laboratory records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide quality patient care.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies to maintain an adequate stock.
  8. Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines at all times.
  9. Keep up-to-date with advancements in laboratory technology and procedures.
  10. Train and supervise junior laboratory technicians and assistants.
  11. Adhere to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  12. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies in test results.
  13. Participate in quality control and assurance activities.
  14. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and answering any questions.
  15. Continuously strive to improve laboratory processes and implement new procedures.
  16. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

  18. Adhere to ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  19. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and trainings.
  20. Perform other duties as assigned by the laboratory manager or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or A Related Field.

  • Certification As A Medical Laboratory Technician (Mlt) From A Recognized Organization, Such As Ascp Or Amt.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Laboratory Procedures And Equipment, Including Proficiency In Performing Diagnostic Tests And Interpreting Results.

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment And Handle A High Volume Of Samples And Tests.
