- Lead and oversee the orthopedic imaging department, ensuring efficient and effective workflow and high-quality diagnostic services.
- Supervise and train a team of radiologic technologists, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring proper functioning and availability for patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement protocols and procedures for orthopedic imaging.
- Remain current on industry advancements and best practices, and implement new techniques and technologies as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards, including HIPAA, radiation safety, and infection control.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of patient procedures and results, and assist with patient scheduling and coordination.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing any concerns or inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of imaging results.
- Communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to facilitate patient care.
- Serve as a role model for best practices in orthopedic imaging, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
- Participate in departmental and hospital-wide initiatives and committees, contributing to the overall success and growth of the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field With Specialization In Orthopedics.
Certification By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Radiography And Orthopedic Imaging.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Radiologic Technologist In An Orthopedic Setting, With At Least 2 Years In A Supervisory Or Lead Role.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Orthopedic Imaging Techniques, Equipment, And Safety Protocols.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Train A Team Of Radiologic Technologists.
