  1. Develop and implement process improvement strategies and initiatives across multiple departments at the University of Rochester.
  2. Lead and oversee the execution of process improvement projects, ensuring timely completion and successful outcomes.
  3. Conduct thorough analysis and assessment of current processes to identify areas for improvement and streamline operations.
  4. Collaborate with department heads and key stakeholders to identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities.
  5. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for process improvement projects.
  6. Train and mentor team members on process improvement methodologies and tools.
  7. Monitor and measure the success of implemented process improvements, providing regular reports and updates to senior management.
  8. Proactively identify potential risks and issues that may impact the success of process improvement projects and develop mitigation plans.
  9. Serve as a subject matter expert on process improvement, providing guidance and support to colleagues and departments across the university.
  10. Continuously seek out new and innovative ways to improve processes and enhance the overall University of Rochester experience for students, faculty, and staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Operations Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Process Improvement, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Lean Six Sigma Methodologies And Tools.

  • Excellent Project Management Skills, With A Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Implementing Process Improvement Initiatives.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Influence Change At All Levels Of The Organization.
