Employee Health – RN 3

1. Provide high-quality and compassionate nursing care to employees through health assessments, screenings, and treatments.
2. Serve as a key member of the Employee Health team, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to promote employee wellness and prevent illness and injury.
3. Conduct thorough and accurate medical histories and physical examinations to assess employee health and identify any potential health risks.
4. Develop and implement employee health programs and initiatives to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
5. Administer immunizations and medications as needed, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up care.
6. Monitor and track employee health data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
7. Educate and counsel employees on health-related topics and provide resources for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
8. Maintain accurate and confidential employee health records and comply with all regulatory and legal requirements.
9. Participate in emergency response and crisis management procedures as necessary.
10. Collaborate with HR and management to support and facilitate employee accommodations and return-to-work plans.
11. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices in employee health and wellness.
12. Demonstrate a commitment to the values and mission of the University of Rochester and uphold professional standards of nursing practice.
