  1. Implement and maintain the electronic health record system for the University of Rochester.
  2. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the EHR system, ensuring its smooth and efficient operation.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system enhancements and upgrades to improve the delivery of healthcare services.
  4. Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides and training materials, to support the use of the EHR system.
  5. Train and educate end-users on the functionality and best practices of the EHR system.
  6. Monitor and analyze system data to identify and resolve any issues or inefficiencies.
  7. Serve as a subject matter expert on EHR system capabilities, workflows, and regulations related to electronic health records.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in EHR technology, and make recommendations for system improvements.
  9. Work closely with vendors and external partners to ensure the EHR system is meeting the needs and requirements of the University of Rochester.
  10. Participate in project planning and implementation to support the integration of new technologies and applications with the EHR system.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
  12. Provide excellent customer service and support to end-users, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
  13. Adhere to departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  14. Collaborate with other EHR Applications Analysts and IT professionals to ensure the successful functioning of the EHR system.
  15. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Health Informatics, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Working With Ehr Systems, Preferably Within A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Ehr Implementation, Customization, And Maintenance Processes.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Sql, Java, And Python.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Technical Issues Related To Ehr Applications.
