As the Director, you will have the unique opportunity to lead our team in strengthening relationships and partnerships with our alumni, donors, and community members.   1. Develop and implement strategies to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with alumni, donors, and community members.
  2. Lead and supervise the Friends of Strong team in their efforts to engage and connect with alumni, donors, and community members.
  3. Collaborate with university departments and external stakeholders to identify and pursue fundraising opportunities.
  4. Create and execute fundraising campaigns and initiatives to support the university's mission and goals.
  5. Plan and organize events and programs to strengthen relationships with alumni, donors, and community members.
  6. Utilize data and analytics to track and measure the success of fundraising efforts and make strategic decisions.
  7. Represent the university and the Friends of Strong program in various events and meetings.
  8. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the university's programs, services, and initiatives.
  9. Communicate regularly with alumni, donors, and community members to keep them informed and engaged.
  10. Develop and manage the budget for the Friends of Strong program.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in fundraising and relationship building.
  12. Work closely with the university's development team to coordinate fundraising efforts and achieve shared goals.
  13. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with alumni, donors, and community members.
  14. Act as a brand ambassador for the university, promoting its values and mission.
  15. Continuously strive to enhance the reputation and impact of the Friends of Strong program.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Non-Profit Management, Fundraising, Or Business.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Non-Profit Organization.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successful Fundraising And Donor Cultivation.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Engage With Diverse Stakeholders And Build Relationships.

  • Knowledge Of The Healthcare Or Education Industry And Understanding Of The University Of Rochester's Mission And Values.
