4. Monitor and evaluate the performance of speech pathologists, providing feedback and support for professional growth and development.
5. Oversee the scheduling and coordination of therapy sessions to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
6. Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new speech pathologists.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with other departments, organizations, and professionals to promote the department and its services.
8. Stay up-to-date with current research, trends, and best practices in the field of speech pathology.
9. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
10. Collaborate with the Director to develop and manage the department's budget.
11. Assist with the development and implementation of departmental marketing and outreach efforts.
12. Serve as a resource for students, families, and other stakeholders regarding speech therapy services and resources.
13. Lead and participate in departmental meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
14. Maintain accurate and confidential records of department operations and student progress.
