  1. Develop and implement initiatives and programs that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion on campus.
  2. Collaborate with campus partners to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students.
  3. Advise and support student organizations and affinity groups to ensure their needs and concerns are addressed.
  4. Serve as a resource for students, faculty, and staff on issues related to diversity and inclusivity.
  5. Lead the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote a safe and inclusive campus.
  6. Provide guidance and support to students who are facing challenges or barriers to their academic success.
  7. Oversee the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff and student leaders to assist with diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  8. Stay current on best practices and trends in higher education related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  9. Collaborate with departments and offices across campus to assess and address the needs of underrepresented and marginalized students.
  10. Serve as a liaison between students and academic departments to advocate for the needs of diverse student populations.
  11. Coordinate and support campus-wide events and educational programs that promote diversity and inclusivity.
  12. Create and maintain partnerships with community organizations to enhance resources and support for students.
  13. Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations related to diversity and inclusion, and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
  14. Represent the university at conferences and events related to diversity and inclusion in higher education.
  15. Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on the progress and impact of diversity and inclusion initiatives on campus.

Job Qualifications
  • A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Higher Education, With A Focus On Student Affairs And Administration.

  • Master's Degree In Higher Education, Student Development, Counseling, Or Related Field.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills, With The Ability To Oversee And Guide A Team Of Student Affairs Professionals.

  • Knowledge Of Current Trends And Best Practices In Student Development, Diversity And Inclusion, And Campus Safety.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Students, Faculty, And Staff From Diverse Backgrounds.
