Welcome to the University of Redlands! We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Human Resources team as the Project & Initiatives Manager/Senior HR Generalist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and drive various projects and initiatives that will contribute to the overall success of our organization.   1. Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives and projects that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  2. Lead and manage various HR projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to identify and address HR needs and drive positive change.
  4. Conduct research, analyze data, and provide recommendations for HR initiatives and projects.
  5. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, and provide regular progress reports to senior management.
  6. Oversee the implementation of new HR programs, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  7. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for HR-related matters, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
  8. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HR initiatives and make adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in HR project management, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  10. Mentor and train junior HR team members on project management processes and best practices.
  11. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the HR team and across the organization.
  12. Represent the organization in a professional and positive manner at all times, both internally and externally.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Human Resources, With A Focus On Project And Initiatives Management.

  • Strong Understanding Of Hr Principles, Policies, And Procedures, As Well As Federal And State Employment Laws.

  • Experience Managing And Leading Cross-Functional Teams, With A Proven Track Record Of Successful Project Execution.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships And Collaborate With Various Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
