  1. Develop and teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in clinical psychology, ensuring they align with the university's curriculum and standards.
  2. Mentor and supervise students in their clinical training and provide guidance and support to help them achieve their academic and professional goals.
  3. Maintain a caseload of clients for clinical practice, adhering to ethical guidelines and best practices in the field.
  4. Conduct research and publish scholarly articles in relevant academic journals to contribute to the advancement of the field.
  5. Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other activities to contribute to the overall growth and success of the program.
  6. Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement innovative teaching methods and strategies.
  7. Stay up-to-date with advancements and changes in the field of clinical psychology and incorporate them into teaching and clinical practice.
  8. Actively engage in community outreach and professional development activities to promote the university's clinical psychology program.
  9. Serve as a role model and mentor for students, demonstrating professionalism, dedication, and passion for the field.
  10. Adhere to university policies and procedures, including those related to academic integrity and student success.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctoral Degree In Clinical Psychology From An Accredited Program: This Is The Minimum Educational Requirement For A Clinical Assistant / Clinical Associate Professor Position In Clinical Psychology At University Of North Carolina, Charlotte. Candidates Must Have Completed A Phd Or Psyd In Clinical Psychology Or A Related Field From An Accredited Program.

  • Licensure As A Clinical Psychologist In The State Of North Carolina: Candidates Must Be Licensed As A Clinical Psychologist In The State Of North Carolina Or Be Eligible For Licensure Upon Hire. This Ensures That Candidates Have Met The Necessary Standards Of Professional Competency And Ethical Practice In The Field Of Clinical Psychology.

  • Teaching And Clinical Experience: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience Teaching And Supervising Graduate Students In A Clinical Setting. This Could Include Teaching Courses In Clinical Assessment, Psychotherapy, Or Other Areas Related To Clinical Psychology. Additionally, Candidates Should Have Experience Providing Clinical Services, Such As Conducting Assessments And Providing Therapy, In A Professional Setting.

  • Research Experience And Publications: The University Of North Carolina, Charlotte Is A Research-Intensive Institution, And Candidates Should Have A Strong Record Of Research Productivity.
