  1. Develop and teach courses in dance, including both theory and practical components, to undergraduate students.
  2. Create and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that align with the university's curriculum and learning objectives.
  3. Utilize a variety of teaching methods and techniques to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  4. Mentor and guide students in developing their technical skills, artistic expression, and overall understanding of dance.
  5. Provide constructive feedback and evaluations to students to help them improve and reach their full potential.
  6. Stay current with industry trends and developments in the field of dance, and incorporate them into lessons and curriculum as appropriate.
  7. Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the dance program and contribute to its growth and success.
  8. Participate in departmental meetings and events, and actively contribute to the overall academic and artistic community at the university.
  9. Maintain a professional and respectful attitude towards students, colleagues, and staff at all times.
  10. Adhere to university policies and procedures, as well as ethical standards in teaching and interacting with students.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth, and actively engage in research and scholarship activities related to dance.
  12. Promote and represent the university and its dance program in a positive manner to the wider community.

Job Qualifications
  • A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Dance Or A Related Field, Such As Performing Arts Or Choreography.

  • Extensive Professional Experience In The Field Of Dance, Either As A Performer, Choreographer, Or Educator.

  • Prior Teaching Experience, Preferably At The College Or University Level, With A Strong Record Of Student Engagement And Success.

  • Knowledge Of Various Dance Styles And Techniques, Including Contemporary, Modern, Ballet, And/Or Ethnic Dance Forms.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Colleagues And Students From Diverse Backgrounds.
