We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Adjunct/Part-Time Faculty in the Women's and Gender Studies department.   1. Develop and teach engaging and informative courses in Women's and Gender Studies, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and materials.
  2. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds.
  3. Design and implement course objectives, assignments, and assessments that align with departmental and university standards.
  4. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their academic progress and performance.
  5. Serve as a mentor and advocate for students, offering guidance and support as needed.
  6. Stay current with developments and trends in the field of Women's and Gender Studies and incorporate them into course materials and discussions.
  7. Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the curriculum and promote interdisciplinary learning.
  8. Participate in departmental meetings and events, including faculty development workshops and student advising sessions.
  9. Maintain regular office hours to provide academic support and guidance to students.
  10. Contribute to the overall mission and goals of the Women's and Gender Studies department and the university as a whole.
  11. Foster a culture of respect, inclusivity, and diversity in the classroom and on campus.
  12. Adhere to university policies and procedures, including grading and attendance policies.
  13. Engage in professional development activities to continuously improve teaching skills and knowledge in the field.
  14. Communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and university staff in a professional and respectful manner.
  15. Embody the values and principles of the University of North Carolina, Charlotte and serve as a positive representative of the institution to students and the community.

Job Qualifications
