- Provide administrative support to the HR department, including but not limited to processing paperwork, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records.
- Utilize knowledge of fiscal operations to assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with all fiscal policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with HR team members to maintain and update employee records and databases.
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including posting job listings, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Conduct data analysis and create reports to support decision-making processes.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, managers, and vendors.
- Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and handle it with discretion.
- Stay current on HR and fiscal regulations and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Proactively identify and resolve any administrative or fiscal issues that may arise.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to employees and managers regarding HR and fiscal processes.
- Complete other duties as assigned by HR leadership.
Experience In Hr Fiscal Support: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Providing Fiscal Support In An Hr Department, Preferably In A University Setting. This Includes Experience With Budget Management, Payroll Processing, And Financial Reporting.
Knowledge Of Hr Policies And Procedures: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Hr Policies And Procedures, Particularly Related To Payroll, Benefits, And Leave Management. This Knowledge Is Essential For Accurate And Efficient Processing Of Employee Records And Transactions.
Proficiency In Hr Software: The Candidate Should Have Experience Working With Hr Software, Such As Peoplesoft Or Workday. This Includes The Ability To Navigate The System, Enter Data Accurately, And Generate Reports.
Attention To Detail: The Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And A High Level Of Accuracy In Their Work. They Will Be Responsible For Processing Sensitive Information, And Any Errors Could Have Serious Consequences.
