  1. Provide administrative support to the Child & Family Research Center by completing tasks such as filing, data entry, and organizing documents.
  2. Assist with the preparation and distribution of materials for research projects and meetings.
  3. Greet and direct visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to emails in a professional and friendly manner.
  4. Help maintain a clean and organized office space.
  5. Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure efficient and effective operation of the center.
  6. Attend team meetings and take minutes as needed.
  7. Assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments and meetings.
  8. Assist with event planning and coordination, including setting up and cleaning up after events.
  9. Manage inventory and order office supplies as needed.
  10. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  11. Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor.

  • Knowledge Of Early Childhood Education: A Successful Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Principles Of Early Childhood Education And Development. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Support The Research And Administrative Functions Of The Child & Family Research Center.

  • Experience In Office Administration: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In Office Administration, Including Tasks Such As Data Entry, Filing, And Scheduling. This Will Ensure They Can Effectively Manage The Day-To-Day Operations Of The Office And Support The Needs Of The Research Center.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As A Student Worker For The Child & Family Research Center, The Individual Will Be Required To Communicate With A Wide Range Of Stakeholders, Including Faculty, Staff, And Families. Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills Are Essential For Effective Collaboration And Information Sharing.

  • Attention To Detail: The Role Of An Office Assistant Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail To Ensure Accurate Record Keeping, Data Entry, And Reporting. A Successful Candidate Should Demonstrate A Strong Ability To Pay Attention To Small Details And Maintain Accuracy In Their Work.

  • Ability To Work In A Team: The Child & Family Research Center Is A Collaborative Environment, And The Office Assistant Will Be Expected To Work Closely With Other Team Members.
