Welcome to the University of Nevada! We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Coordinator to join our Admissions and Recruitment team. As a vital member of our department, you will play a crucial role in shaping the incoming student body and promoting the university to prospective students.   1. Develop and implement strategic plans for student recruitment and admissions process.
  2. Collaborate with other members of the Admissions and Recruitment team to establish and achieve departmental goals.
  3. Represent the university at recruitment events and actively engage with prospective students and families.
  4. Create and maintain relationships with high schools, community colleges, and other educational institutions to promote the university and its programs.
  5. Serve as a point of contact for prospective students and their families, answering questions and providing information about the admissions process, financial aid, and campus life.
  6. Evaluate and review applications for admission, ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures.
  7. Coordinate and conduct campus tours for prospective students and their families.
  8. Develop and maintain a database of recruitment leads and track the progress of prospective students.
  9. Plan and coordinate recruitment events, including open houses, information sessions, and campus visits.
  10. Monitor and analyze recruitment data to identify trends and make strategic recommendations for improving recruitment efforts.
  11. Train and supervise admissions staff and student workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  12. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in higher education admissions and recruitment.
  13. Assist with the development of marketing materials and communication strategies to promote the university and its programs.
  14. Collaborate with other university departments, such as academic advisors and financial aid, to ensure a smooth transition for admitted students.
  15. Uphold and promote the university's mission, values, and diversity initiatives in all aspects of the admissions and recruitment processes.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field, Such As Marketing, Communications, Or Education.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Admissions And Recruitment, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Recruitment Strategies And Techniques, Including Experience With Crm Systems.

  • Excellent Interpersonal And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Connect With Diverse Populations And Build Relationships.
