- Manage and maintain the university's learning management system, ensuring it is functioning properly and meeting the needs of faculty and students.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all technical issues related to the learning management system, providing timely and effective support to faculty and students.
- Collaborate with faculty to develop and implement best practices for utilizing the learning management system in their courses.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in instructional technology, making recommendations for improvements to the learning management system as needed.
- Train and support faculty and staff in effectively using the learning management system, including creating and delivering training materials and resources.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, escalating to appropriate parties when necessary.
- Create and maintain user accounts and course enrollments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Work closely with other university departments, such as IT and academic support, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the learning management system.
- Conduct regular audits of the learning management system to ensure data accuracy and system security.
- Conduct user satisfaction surveys and use feedback to continuously improve the user experience of the learning management system.
- Collaborate with faculty and instructional designers to ensure the learning management system is being used effectively for a variety of teaching and learning modalities.
- Communicate updates and changes to the learning management system to relevant stakeholders, including faculty, students, and other university departments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to third-party integrations with the learning management system.
- Monitor system usage and performance, identifying and addressing any potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Stay current with university policies and procedures related to the learning management system, ensuring compliance with all regulations and guidelines.
Bachelor's Degree In Education, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Managing And Administering A Learning Management System, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Strong Technical Skills And Proficiency In Lms Platforms Such As Canvas, Blackboard, Or Moodle.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Support Faculty, Staff, And Students On Lms Usage.
Familiarity With Instructional Design Principles And Experience In Developing And Implementing Effective Online Learning Courses.
