- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for residential students that align with the university's goals and values.
- Design and deliver engaging and interactive training sessions for students, including both in-person and virtual formats.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to identify training needs and create customized programs.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in training and development to continually enhance programs and resources.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives through surveys, feedback, and other metrics, and make adjustments as needed.
- Serve as a resource and coach for residential staff, providing support and guidance on professional development opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external training providers and vendors to supplement in-house training resources.
- Facilitate team-building and leadership development activities for residential students and staff.
- Create and maintain training materials, resources, and manuals for ongoing use.
- Manage the budget and resources for training and development initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote and advertise training opportunities to students and staff.
- Participate in strategic planning for the Residential Life department and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
- Serve as a role model for professional development and continuous learning within the university community.
- Attend conferences and workshops to stay current on industry trends and network with other professionals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Residential Life Director.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Education, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Training And Development, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Excellent Organizational And Project Management Skills.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Diverse Groups.
Knowledge Of Current Training And Development Best Practices And Techniques.
