- Represent the department and the university at conferences, events, and other external engagements.
- Evaluate and assess the program's success and make necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement and excellence.
- Participate in recruitment and retention efforts for the department, including interviewing and selecting new faculty members.
- Serve as a mentor and advisor to students, providing guidance and support in their academic and professional development.
- Maintain and promote a culture of academic integrity and ethical conduct within the department.
- Collaborate with other university departments and committees to promote interdisciplinary approaches to education and research.
- Handle any administrative tasks related to the department, including scheduling, record-keeping, and managing departmental resources.
Master's Or Doctoral Degree In Speech-Language Pathology Or Audiology From An Accredited University.
Active Licensure As A Speech-Language Pathologist Or Audiologist In The State Of Nevada.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Clinical Experience In The Field Of Speech-Language Pathology Or Audiology.
Previous Teaching Experience At The University Level In Speech-Language Pathology Or Audiology Courses.
Demonstrated Research Productivity And Expertise In One Or More Areas Of Speech-Language Pathology Or Audiology.
