Research Recruitment Coordinator

The University of Mississippi Medical Center is seeking an organized and enthusiastic Research Recruitment Coordinator to join our team. This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to effectively interact with a variety of people and coordinate recruitment efforts. The ideal candidate will be an efficient self-starter who is able to work both independently and in collaboration with other team members. The successful candidate must have a minimum of an Associate’s degree, preferably in a related field, and at least one year of experience in research recruitment or a related position. Knowledge of research recruitment processes, regulations, and databases is a bonus. The Research Recruitment Coordinator will play a critical role in the success of the research recruitment process, and we look forward to having a new team member join us in this mission.

Responsibilities:

1. Act as a point of contact for research recruitment inquiries from potential participants.
2. Develop and execute recruitment strategies for various research studies.
3. Monitor recruitment efforts and adjust strategies as needed to meet desired goals.
4. Communicate with research teams to ensure recruitment goals are met.
5. Maintain and update recruitment databases and records.
6. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and ethical standards.
7. Prepare and submit reports to management on recruitment efforts.
8. Participate in research meetings and training sessions.
9. Utilize various communication channels such as print, web, and social media to promote and recruit potential participants.
10. Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and healthcare providers to identify potential research participants.
