Welcome to the team! At the University of Mississippi Medical Center, we are seeking a Neurophysiology Technician to join our team. This position is critical in helping us provide the highest quality of care to our patients. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting a variety of neurophysiological tests, including EEGs and evoked potentials. To be successful in this position, you must have excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and be detail-oriented. The ideal candidate will also have a minimum of one year of experience in a similar role, as well as an Associate's degree in a related field.If you have the qualifications and are excited about the opportunity, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform a variety of neurophysiological tests, including EEGs and evoked potentials.
  2. Maintain accurate records of patient results.
  3. Communicate test results and other relevant patient information to physicians and other healthcare personnel.
  4. Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  5. Ensure accuracy and precision when conducting tests.
  6. Stay up to date on relevant regulations, protocols, and procedures.
  7. Adhere to safety standards and protocols.
  8. Assist with the training and supervision of new staff members.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  10. Participate in continuing education and training opportunities.
