
Anesthesia Technician-PRN
We are looking for an exceptional Anesthesia Technician-PRN to join the University of Mississippi Medical Center team. The PRN Anesthesia Technician will be required to work as needed to provide support to the Anesthesia Department. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a medical setting, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail. Responsibilities of an Anesthesia Technician-PRN:
- Assist with the preparation of anesthesia supplies, equipment and medications
- Set up and maintain anesthesia equipment
- Ensure the safe and effective use of anesthesia equipment
- Act as a resource for anesthesia personnel
- Assist anesthesia providers with patient positioning and other technical duties
- Assist in the administration and monitoring of anesthesia
- Maintain and update patient records
- Monitor patient vital signs during anesthesia
- Provide appropriate patient care related to anesthesia
- Follow department policies and procedures for patient safety
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with anesthesia staff and other healthcare personnel
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment
High School Diploma Or Equivalent
Ability To Work Independently
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills
Aart Certification In Anesthesia Technology
Previous Experience In An Acute Care Setting
Knowledge Of Anesthesia Equipment And Supplies
