  1. Perform standardized patient role in simulated clinical scenarios for medical students and other healthcare professionals.
  2. Display exceptional performance skills and theatrical techniques to create a realistic and immersive learning experience.
  3. Collaborate with faculty and other standardized performers to develop and refine scenarios and performances.
  4. Provide constructive feedback to students and faculty on their performance and communication skills.
  5. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with students and faculty.
  6. Attend training sessions and rehearsals to improve performance skills and stay updated on curriculum changes.
  7. Continuously evaluate and improve performance techniques to enhance the learning experience for students.
  8. Adhere to all university policies and procedures related to standardized patient performances.
  9. Serve as a positive and enthusiastic representative of the university in all interactions with students, faculty, and visitors.
  10. Communicate effectively with the team and adapt to changes in performance schedules and scenarios.
  11. Assist with administrative tasks related to standardized patient performances, such as scheduling and maintaining records.
  12. Contribute to the overall success and growth of the standardized patient program at the University of Louisville.
  13. Act as a role model for students by exhibiting a strong work ethic, dedication to excellence, and passion for performing arts.
  14. Participate in university events and activities to promote the performing arts and the standardized patient program.
  15. Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Performing Arts Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Professional Performance, Preferably In A University Setting.

  • Knowledge And Proficiency In Multiple Performance Styles, Including Musical Theatre, Drama, And/Or Dance.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Collaborating With Other Performers And Directors.

  • Ability To Work Flexible Hours, Including Evenings And Weekends, To Accommodate Rehearsals And Performances.
