Resident Counselor

The RESIDENT COUNSELOR will live in a residence hall and supervise approximately 65 to 170 high school students who are participating in a six-week educational program at UofL during the summer. The Resident Counselor will serve as a liaison between TRIO Upward Bound & TRIO Talent Search administrative and academic staff and residence hall staff by creating a proper environment for both students and staff. The Resident Counselor will manage health problems and medical emergencies for students; monitor and evaluate students' academic and social progress. The Resident Counselor will see that students are up in the morning and prepared for class and make regular classroom visits; participate in staff orientation and attend all staff meetings.
