- Oversee and manage the day-to-day plumbing operations of the University of Louisville's campus facilities.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of a team of plumbers and plumbing assistants.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of plumbing systems to ensure they are functioning properly and in compliance with safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues, and develop effective solutions to resolve them in a timely manner.
- Prioritize and delegate tasks to team members based on urgency and expertise.
- Monitor and track inventory of plumbing supplies and equipment, and ensure they are properly stocked and maintained.
- Collaborate with other departments and contractors to plan and execute plumbing projects and repairs.
- Train and mentor new employees, and provide ongoing training and development for existing team members.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all plumbing work performed.
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in plumbing technology, and recommend improvements to current processes.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, and promote a culture of safety within the team.
- Act as a point of contact for any plumbing-related concerns or emergencies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, and promote teamwork and collaboration among team members.
- Represent the Facilities Management team in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with students, faculty, and staff.

Extensive Plumbing Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working As A Plumber, With A Strong Understanding Of Plumbing Systems And Techniques.
Leadership Skills: As A Foreman, The Candidate Must Have Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Plumbers And Oversee Projects From Start To Finish.
Plumbing License Or Certification: A Valid Plumbing License Or Certification Is Required To Ensure That The Candidate Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Perform Plumbing Tasks In A Safe And Efficient Manner.
Knowledge Of Building Codes: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Local And National Building Codes And Regulations Related To Plumbing To Ensure That All Work Is Performed To The Highest Standards.
Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Candidate Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Contractors, And Other University Staff To Coordinate Work And Ensure Project Deadlines Are Met.
