
Faculty Affairs Coordinator

- Serve as the primary point of contact for all faculty affairs related matters and inquiries.
- Liaise with various departments and individuals within the university to ensure compliance with policies and procedures related to faculty affairs.
- Assist in the recruitment and hiring process for new faculty members, including creating and posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews, and coordinating onboarding procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of faculty information, including contracts, evaluations, and tenure and promotion materials.
- Provide support for faculty development and training programs, including organizing workshops and seminars.
- Collaborate with department chairs and deans to address any faculty-related issues or concerns.
- Stay informed about changes in university policies and procedures related to faculty affairs and communicate updates to relevant parties.
- Coordinate and facilitate faculty evaluations and performance reviews.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of faculty events and recognition programs.
- Serve as an advocate for faculty members, providing support and guidance on any issues or concerns they may have.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Ensure a positive and inclusive work environment for all faculty members.
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Faculty Affairs Or Academic Administration.
Knowledge Of University Policies And Procedures Related To Faculty Recruitment, Hiring, Promotion, And Tenure.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Faculty, Staff, And Administrators.
Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Experience With Hris And/Or Applicant Tracking Systems.
