We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Campus Recreational Programs to lead our diverse and dynamic recreational programs on campus.   1. Develop and implement a comprehensive and diverse range of recreational programs that cater to the needs and interests of the student population.
  2. Collaborate with various departments and organizations on campus to promote and integrate recreational programs into the overall student experience.
  3. Hire, train, and supervise a team of recreational program staff, ensuring they are equipped to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for students.
  4. Oversee the budget for recreational programs, making strategic decisions to maximize resources and enhance program offerings.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to provide a variety of recreational activities and services for students.
  6. Create and enforce policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants in recreational programs.
  7. Plan and execute special events and activities to engage students and promote a sense of community within the recreational programs.
  8. Regularly assess and evaluate the effectiveness of recreational programs, making necessary adjustments to improve student satisfaction and participation.
  9. Serve as a mentor and role model for students, promoting healthy and active lifestyles and providing opportunities for personal and leadership development.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in recreational programming, incorporating new ideas and initiatives into the program offerings.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Recreation Management, Sports Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Campus Recreational Program Or Similar Organization.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Current Trends And Best Practices In Campus Recreational Programs, Including Fitness, Intramural Sports, And Outdoor Recreation.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With A Diverse Group Of Students, Staff, And Faculty.

  • Experience In Budget Management, Program Development, And Strategic Planning.
