  1. Oversee the daily operations of the assigned department, ensuring efficient and effective functioning.
  2. Act as the primary point of contact for all department-related inquiries and requests.
  3. Manage department calendars, schedules, and meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files, both electronically and in hard copy.
  5. Coordinate and schedule department events, including meetings, workshops, and conferences.
  6. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and external partners, in a professional and timely manner.
  7. Assist with department budget management, including tracking expenses and processing reimbursements.
  8. Collaborate with other university departments to ensure seamless coordination and execution of department initiatives and projects.
  9. Provide administrative support to department leadership, including preparing reports and presentations.
  10. Stay current on university policies and procedures to ensure compliance within the department.
  11. Take initiative to identify and address potential issues or challenges in the department's operations.
  12. Participate in department meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes and enhance the overall functioning of the department.
  13. Foster a positive and welcoming environment for all members of the university community.
  14. Perform other related duties as assigned by department leadership.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Business Administration, Communications, Or Education.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Excellent Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Diverse Groups Of People.

  • Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Other Relevant Software Programs.
