- Oversee and manage all research activities within the Department of Health Outcomes and Biomedical Informatics.
- Coordinate and facilitate the submission of grant proposals and ensure compliance with all funding agency guidelines.
- Develop and maintain research budgets and track expenditures.
- Collaborate with Principal Investigators to identify and secure potential funding opportunities.
- Provide guidance and support to research staff in the preparation and submission of IRB protocols.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable institutional policies and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits of research activities to ensure proper record-keeping and data integrity.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between researchers, funding agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and stakeholders to support research initiatives.
- Participate in the development and implementation of research policies and procedures.
- Prepare reports for departmental and institutional leadership on research activities, outcomes, and potential areas for improvement.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in research administration.
- Mentor and train junior research staff on research administration processes and procedures.
- Represent the department at conferences, meetings, and other events related to research administration.
- Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration within the department.
Master's Degree In Health Outcomes Research, Biomedical Informatics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Research Administration, Preferably In A Health Outcomes Or Biomedical Informatics Setting.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Federal Regulations And Guidelines Related To Research Funding, Including Nih And Fda Regulations.
Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously And Meet Deadlines.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Diverse Teams And Stakeholders.
