
Part-Time Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Technician I/II (OPS)

- Provide compassionate and skilled care to critically ill and injured animals.
- Collaborate with a team of veterinarians to develop treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and response to treatment.
- Administer medications and perform medical procedures as directed by veterinarians.
- Assist with emergency procedures and triage incoming patients.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians, colleagues, and pet owners regarding patient status and treatment plans.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, colleagues, and visitors.
- Stay up-to-date on current emergency and critical care techniques and protocols.
- Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Demonstrate a deep passion for helping animals in need.

- Provide emotional support to pet owners during difficult situations.
- Assist with training and mentoring of new team members.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
Minimum Of 1 Year Experience Working As A Veterinary Technician In An Emergency And Critical Care Setting.
Certification As A Veterinary Technician (Cvt) Or Licensed Veterinary Technician (Lvt) In The State Of Florida.
Proficiency In Performing Emergency Procedures, Such As Cpr And Triage, In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Knowledge Of Veterinary Medical Terminology And Ability To Accurately Record Patient Information.
Ability To Work Flexible Hours, Including Nights, Weekends, And Holidays, As This Position Is Part-Time And May Require On-Call Shifts.
