  1. Oversee the daily operations of the university's facilities and operations department, including maintenance, custodial services, and capital projects.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans and policies to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the university's facilities and operations.
  3. Manage and allocate resources, including budget, staff, and equipment, to meet the needs of the university.
  4. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to identify and address any facility and operational issues or concerns.
  5. Conduct regular inspections and assessments of university facilities to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with regulations.
  6. Hire, train, and supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and customer service.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and other external partners to ensure timely and cost-effective services.
  8. Monitor and analyze data related to facilities and operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulations to ensure compliance and recommend improvements as needed.
  10. Serve as a liaison between the university and external agencies, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance.
  11. Prepare and present reports and presentations on facilities and operations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  12. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, professional development, and a culture of excellence.
  13. Participate in university-wide initiatives and committees, representing the facilities and operations department and contributing to the overall success of the university.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Facilities Management, Operations Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Facilities And Operations Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Building Systems, Maintenance, And Safety Regulations.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Manage A Team And Collaborate With Diverse Stakeholders.

  • Knowledge Of Budgeting And Financial Management, With Experience Managing Large Budgets For Facilities And Operations.
