
Assoc Director of Facilities & Operations

- Oversee the daily operations of the university's facilities and operations department, including maintenance, custodial services, and capital projects.
- Develop and implement strategic plans and policies to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the university's facilities and operations.
- Manage and allocate resources, including budget, staff, and equipment, to meet the needs of the university.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to identify and address any facility and operational issues or concerns.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of university facilities to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with regulations.
- Hire, train, and supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and customer service.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and other external partners to ensure timely and cost-effective services.
- Monitor and analyze data related to facilities and operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulations to ensure compliance and recommend improvements as needed.
- Serve as a liaison between the university and external agencies, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance.
- Prepare and present reports and presentations on facilities and operations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, professional development, and a culture of excellence.
- Participate in university-wide initiatives and committees, representing the facilities and operations department and contributing to the overall success of the university.
Bachelor's Degree In Facilities Management, Operations Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Facilities And Operations Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Building Systems, Maintenance, And Safety Regulations.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Manage A Team And Collaborate With Diverse Stakeholders.
Knowledge Of Budgeting And Financial Management, With Experience Managing Large Budgets For Facilities And Operations.
