Welcome to the University of Cincinnati's Clermont College! We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Adjunct Instructor for our Paralegal program. As an Adjunct Instructor, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise with students in a dynamic and supportive learning environment. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about the legal field and has a desire to help students succeed in their academic and professional goals. Join us in shaping the next generation of paralegals and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our students.

  1. Create and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that align with the curriculum and learning objectives of the Paralegal program.
  2. Prepare course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assignments, to ensure a comprehensive and well-structured learning experience for students.
  3. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their academic performance and progress.
  4. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and promotes a sense of community.
  5. Stay updated on current trends and developments in the legal field to incorporate relevant and practical examples into teaching.
  6. Utilize a variety of teaching methods and technologies to accommodate diverse learning styles and enhance student engagement.
  7. Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure consistency and continuity in course content and assessment.
  8. Attend faculty meetings and training sessions to stay informed about College policies and procedures.
  9. Assist in the recruitment and retention of students by participating in open houses, campus events, and other outreach activities.
  10. Serve as a mentor and resource for students, offering guidance and support in academic and career-related matters.
  11. Adhere to University and College standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.
  12. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant data.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve teaching methods and course content to enhance the overall learning experience for students.
  14. Communicate effectively and professionally with students, colleagues, and other members of the College community.
  15. Comply with all deadlines and responsibilities outlined by the Department Chair and Program Director.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Paralegal Studies Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 3 Years Of Experience Working As A Paralegal In A Law Firm Or Other Legal Setting.

  • Teaching Experience Or Relevant Experience In Training And Development.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Teach And Engage Students From Diverse Backgrounds.

  • Knowledge Of Current Trends And Practices In The Field Of Paralegal Studies, As Well As Experience With Legal Technology And Software.
