We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Adjunct Instructor to join our Law & Paralegal Studies program. As an Adjunct Instructor, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise with our students, helping them develop the skills and understanding necessary to excel in the legal industry.   1. Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive course materials for the Law & Paralegal Studies program.
  2. Facilitate classroom discussions and activities to encourage critical thinking and application of legal concepts.
  3. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their assignments and performance.
  4. Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure consistency and alignment of course content.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to incorporate into curriculum and teaching.
  6. Meet with students during office hours to provide additional support and guidance.
  7. Serve as a mentor and role model for students, demonstrating professionalism and ethical behavior in the legal field.
  8. Participate in faculty meetings and professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching methods and materials.
  9. Assist in the recruitment and retention of students in the Law & Paralegal Studies program.
  10. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
  11. Adhere to university policies and procedures, including academic integrity and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  12. Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and university staff.
  13. Attend and participate in university events and activities related to the Law & Paralegal Studies program.
  14. Act as a liaison between the university and the legal community to foster professional partnerships and opportunities for students.
  15. Represent the university in a positive and professional manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Practicing Law In Relevant Field(S)

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Legal Principles And Procedures

  • Previous Teaching Or Training Experience, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Engage And Connect With Students From Diverse Backgrounds.
