As a Supervisor of Public Safety, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our patients, visitors, and staff.   1. Oversee the daily operations of the public safety department, including scheduling and assigning duties to a team of security officers.
  2. Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  3. Manage and monitor security systems, including surveillance cameras and access control systems.
  4. Train and educate security personnel on emergency response procedures, conflict resolution, and customer service.
  5. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify potential safety hazards and take appropriate corrective actions.
  6. Serve as a liaison between the hospital and local law enforcement and emergency response agencies.
  7. Investigate incidents and accidents within the hospital premises, document findings, and recommend preventive measures.
  8. Respond to emergency situations, such as fire alarms or medical emergencies, and coordinate with appropriate departments.
  9. Maintain accurate records of security incidents, daily activities, and personnel performance.
  10. Develop and manage the department budget, including purchasing and inventory management.
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to public safety and security.
  12. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to security personnel.
  13. Handle any escalated security issues and provide support and guidance to security staff.
  14. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in security and make recommendations for process improvements.
  15. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Public Safety, Emergency Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role In A Public Safety Or Emergency Services Setting.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Laws And Regulations Related To Public Safety And Emergency Management.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Manage A Diverse Team.

  • Certification In Cpr, First Aid, And Aed, As Well As Training In Emergency Response Protocols And Procedures.
