- Conduct initial evaluations and assessments of patients to determine their individual needs and create personalized treatment plans.
- Utilize a variety of physical therapy techniques and modalities to help patients improve their strength, mobility, and function.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Document all patient interactions, progress, and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and advancements in the field of physical therapy and incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care.
- Provide education and instruction to patients and their families on exercises, stretches, and other strategies for maintaining and improving physical health.
- Collaborate with other physical therapists, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement interdisciplinary treatment plans.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards of practice, including maintaining patient confidentiality and promoting patient autonomy.
- Participate in performance improvement activities and quality assurance initiatives to continuously improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude and demeanor with patients, coworkers, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Continuously evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and organizations to facilitate patient referrals and promote the physical therapy program.
- Assist in training and mentoring new physical therapy staff and students, as needed.
- Participate in professional development activities to maintain licensure and enhance skills and knowledge.
Bachelor's Degree In Physical Therapy: The Candidate Should Possess A Bachelor's Degree In Physical Therapy From An Accredited Institution.
Valid State License: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid State License To Practice As A Physical Therapist.
Cpr Certification: The Candidate Should Have A Current Certification In Cpr (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).
Previous Experience: Prior Experience Working As A Physical Therapist, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting, Is Preferred.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills Are Essential For A Physical Therapist, As They Will Be Working Closely With Patients And Other Healthcare Professionals.
